When we speak about the challenges women face, the spotlight often falls on the outside world—harassment, inequality at workplaces, safety concerns. But what about the silent struggles within the four walls of her own home? The battles no one talks about?

A woman faces discrimination not only from strangers, but also from those closest to her. It begins early—“You’re a girl, you can’t do that.” “Leave it, let your brother handle it.” “You don’t need to dream too big.”

Inside the home, her opinions are often overlooked, her efforts taken for granted. She's judged, doubted, and compared. She's expected to fit into roles without questioning - obedient daughter, selfless sister, perfect wife, sacrificing mother. And when she dreams beyond those roles, she’s called selfish or rebellious.

These invisible chains hurt more than visible scars. They shape her thoughts, break her confidence, and silence her voice before she even gets the chance to speak.

It’s time we recognize that empowerment must begin at home. Let’s listen to her, trust her, believe in her. Because when a woman is supported inside, she becomes unstoppable outside.

In sha Allah
